They were professional and very kind as well as understanding. Even helped me save an orange tree in my yard that I didn't think was going to make it. We had a cluster of oaks in the power lines that needed dead limbs removed. 2 more huge oaks with branches with dead limbs over our house, and 3 smaller trees to be removed. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got to work. The drives driving the tractor (maneuvering the heavy stuff and cleaning up the limbs), Arborist in the trees (making video and pictures showing what he’s doing) and then staff, feet on the ground. They were a well oiled machine and done by noon! Extremely impressed with every aspect of the job, from estimate to writing the check!!

May 2025: (Google Review - MW) ECTS came out 3rd time now… hear me out; you find a good source and you run with it, yada yada yada. Honestly, this company is beyond professional, punctual, and delivers. We had 20+ trees removed for a pool, then he came back no charge to prune a few branches and clean up what he thought would be more aesthetic. He gave a great deal to remove not 1 but 3 detrimental trees. He left the property clean, offered advice for future mitigation, and we gained a friend. His company is truly old-school. He’s not out to take every cent, but more so, build a professional relationship and offer his expertise to better your property and keep your assets safe. Trustful and honest for all your tree needs, and a must call for your next project or to make sure you’re safe for the hurricane season. Thanks again Emerald Coast Tree Service staff.

June 2024: (Google Review - Eryn in Milton, FL) We were in a SERIOUS jam after a big storm took out Every Big tree in our back yard, on a very steep hill, all next to my kids’ playhouse and play area, and some of our back fence that separates our property from the woods was damaged. But Marc and his team were AWESOME and came as quickly as they could to help, and what I saw as major issues were quick fixes for them. Their prices were extremely reasonable, they had great communication, got the job done very efficiently, and were super flexible and kind while my 4 kiddos were running around watching the tractor remove the debris. I would definitely recommend them for any job, big or small!

April 2024: (Google Review - Becky in Pensacola, FL) I had the most majestic water oak in my front yard. Then it gradually started leaning towards the house. I contacted a number of tree trimmers and by far this company stood out in integrity and price. It wasn’t until I saw this husband and wife team working in harmony did I grasp how fortunate I was. The 100 foot plus tree was close to the house and 18 mph winds made it more challenging. My neighbor and I had some reckless thoughts of taking it down ourselves; man that would have been a total disaster. Watching a professional using expensive equipment much like an artist was enjoyable for me (I just loved his shorty rope technique). I tried to not distract them too much but they were very friendly and I learned soo much. Like how mistletoe grows up in the tree and is bad for it, I even had a sip of water flowing out of this tree.

November 2023: (Google Review - Deb in Pensacola, FL) From the moment I reached out for an estimate to remove a leaning pine tree, Marc Schrenker of Emerald Coast Tree Services was extremely helpful. Within a day of visiting me and the tree, I had a fair and competitive estimate. I did have a few other estimates, yet I decided to choose Emerald Coast Tree Services because Marc Schrenker had taken the extra time with me explaining exactly how the tree would be removed and what I could expect.
The take down went exactly as I expected. The tree was located in an area where care was required. Using their expertise the tree was removed and all the wood was stacked as we had planned.
I am still delighted that I chose Emerald Coast Tree Services and I know without a doubt that I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced and professional tree service.

More "professional" than other pros! Emerald Coast Tree Services (ECTS) came to my house for the first visit. LeeAnn and Marc walked around the yard and the trees I knew should come now, because of still leaning and too big to straighten, they took photos of. They also made suggestions about others that probably should be trimmed or should come down, but only if I made the decision. They weren't trying to "make me give them more business." They hauled off debris, from large sections of tree trunks to smaller branches, to a landfill, where, yes, it did cost for the landfill they use to accept the debris, but that debris "recyles" and is used to eventually become the natural gas for vehicles that so many are wanting to go to, now -- and I know of at least two other companies who pile tree trunk sections and branches on the street, with the debris pick-up trucks only able to get so much or are not allowed to pick-up certain sizes, so the pile stays there, sometimes for weeks. They were careful around existing azaleas, camellias and other trees I didn't want damaged. Their equipment includes a lift, something many companies don't have. ECTS has kept in touch, to see if everything continues to return to the way it should be (for shrubbery and trees I didn't want removed, but did want to grow back) occasionally and offered to help, in the event of a hurricane, something no other company (and over the years, my parents and then I have used two other companies, so I believe I can give a fair review of the ECTS services. I've recommended them on the Nextdoor Neighbor site, as have other people.

We used them to perform some tricky tree work, and they did a phenomenal job. Our neighbor’s mature, sprawling live oak limbs were looming over our fence and endangering structures on our property. If done incorrectly, the limbs could fall on the neighbor’s outbuilding, our fence, our neighbor’s fence, our outbuilding, or our home! High stakes, for sure! Emerald Coast Tree Services came out with their lift and equipment to cut and haul away all of the hazardous limbs with surgical precision.
They’re kind people, and pleasant to do business with. I wouldn’t my hesitate to use them on future projects either!

I have used Emerald Coast Tree Service on several occasions, they have provided me with prompt and professional services. I have used this company to have a huge pine removed from my property. Not only did they remove the tree but cleaned the area up around where the tree was to a very clean and neat area. They have come out and ground stumps out for me as I found them on my property. When I put my fence around my property they came out and augered the holes out. I will definitely be using this company again for all of my outdoor needs.

Very professional company and will be our go too for tree service. I highly recommend them. We got one estimate a little cheaper, but like everything you get what you pay for. We were impressed with Mark's professionalism and knowledge when he came to give us the estimate. We have a huge live oak that needed cleaning up and he made it beautiful, not chopped up. He trimmed up a large water oak also and took down 2 pecan trees. He and Lee Anne went over and above. Very pleased and knew we made the right choice. Don't hesitate to get an estimate and you'll see what I mean. I gave them a 5 star rating because that is as high as you could go, but they are a 10 for sure.
